Iconic Italian crystal brand Arnolfo di Cambio celebrated its 60th anniversary with a retrospective exhibition in 2023 at the Maison & Objet fair in Paris. To mark the occasion, a comprehensive branding and communication campaign was devised around the theme of Sixty Years of Design in Crystal. The objective was to increase the brand's visibility by celebrating Arnolfo's rich and historic heritage of design while reintroducing the brand to a new audience.
Arnolfo di Cambio’s original mark from the 1960’s was transformed into a new celebratory mark, conceptually tying its past to the present. The numbers 6 and 0 were derived from the original mark and offset, with the 0 lower than the 6 and bleeding off the bottom edge of the page or screen: This effect is both distinctive and memorable. This celebratory mark was then applied to the exhibition graphics, posters, brochures, and tote bags, becoming a visual anchor for the campaign.
The branding and communication campaign provided maximum visibility and exposure to the brand — both in print and online. Tote bags were spotted everywhere in Paris and the exhibition was viewed by more than 20,000 visitors over a five day period.
